Oh goody - it is almost spring...not so much. Although I love the warmer weather and can't wait to get outside with my toddler - inevitably it is time for spring house cleaning - ugh!!!
My tactic for this in the past has been to just move - lol...however, I bought this house and guess I should take care of it.
So, I am planning this year to try to do it like I do my regular cleaning now (one day at a time)! I guess it goes back to the old saying "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!" Here is my list of days:
Wash curtains/Dust blinds
Clean windows/dust windo sills
Clean baseboards on top floor/wash walls
Clean baseboards on middle floor/wash walls
Clean baseboards in basement/wash walls
Clean oven/Wash backsplash/wipe cupboards/clean appliances
Clean fireplace and mantle
Clean doors
Vaccuum furniture
Ugh - this will take over a week! If I get froggy - I plan to go through the 6 boxes that I still haven't unpacked from moving in here over a year and a half a go - I know not so perfect.
I also have much shredding to do - guess I'll put that on the list too! Yes, these are the things that wake me up at 4am in the morning - ugh!!! I'll keep ya posted.
